问题     There used to be few people on the earth and natural resources seemed to be unlimited. But today 【B1】 are different. The world has become too 【B2】 . We are using 【B3】 our natural resources too quickly, and at the same time we are polluting our surroundings with dangerous 【B4】 . If we continue to do this, 【B5】 on earth will not survive(生存).
    Everyone realizes today that if too many fish are 【B6】 the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet, with modern fishing methods, 【B7】 fish are caught. Fish 【B8】 at sea so that fishing boats 【B9】 return home quickly with their catch, and can fish farther from the coasts. We even use satellites to give us 【B10】 about where the fish are.
    We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will 【B11】 and nothing will 【B12】 on the land. Yet we continue to use bigger and more powerful machines to cut down more and more trees.
    We realize that if rivers are 【B13】 with waste products from factories, they will 【B14】 However, in most countries waste products are still put into rivers or into the sea , and there are few laws to 【B15】 this.
    We know too that if the world population continues to 【B16】 at the present rate(率) ,in a few years there will not be 【B17】 food. Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to 【B18】 them. The world population will not rise so quickly if more people come to see the 【B19】 of birth control.
    Finally, if we educate people to think about the problem, we shall have a better and cleaner 【B20】 in the future.
