答案 The cartoon tells us a ridiculous story. In front of a house, a woman said to her man with electric wires around his shoulder, "next time don’t steal the electric wires in our neighborhood, or power failure will affect our son’s studies." Behind them in the house their boy is doing his homework in the dim candlelight. What selfish and stupid parents they are! They seem to care about their son, but how about the public interest? Even if the man follows his wife’s advice and steals the electric wires somewhere else, he is still disturbing other people’s everyday life and committing a crime. What’s more, they are setting a very bad example for their son indeed! So what they should do is to stop their wrong doing immediately instead of repeating it somewhere else.
