People talk about efficiency all the time. All these make modern people busier and more stressful. Another reason is that people are generally more educated than before. There’s an oversupply of workforce and talents out there. People would feel if they didn’t work hard or do well at work, they would be replaced by other people. This sense of fear makes people’s lives more stressful.
