It’s important for students to have internships before graduating, since it’s a proper and convenient way for them to experience social life and workplace in advance. In my opinion, college students would better do internships related to their future job. For example, if a medical student is willing to devote himself in medical field in the future, he’d better find an internship in hospital rather than supermarket. By contacting to real patients and following the conduct given by experienced doctors, he would soon learn how to put what he has learned on textbook into practical use. Knowing the exact workflow is also essential in saving time in future work. In addition, doing internships in your professional also helps you associate with insiders of this field, who may give you guidance or even provide a dream job for you after graduation. In conclusion, college students better find internships related to their future jobs. Only in this way can they acquire useful skills and become familiar with what they would do in this field.
