I can’t agree more that it is better to give than to receive for giving is a wonderful thing. First of all, giving is one of the most valuable ways to establish interpersonal relationship. If you just focus on what you can take and give nothing, then your relationship with others will become bad and none of your family or friends will feel a thread of warmth from you; while if you extend your hands and your favor to those who badly need it, you will win the respect from others through your kindness. Thus when you encounter difficulties one day, others will surely spare no efforts to help you through. Based on this, giving is actually a win-win strategy. Giving is a kind of good deed and can make your life more meaningful, through which you can deeply sense the true value of your life. Giving sometimes is a tiny thing that may cost absolutely nothing. For example, giving a smile to your classmates or workmates every day; giving a hand when someone is in trouble; helping the blind cross the street; writing to your friend who is studying abroad, etc. All of these are very tiny things for us to do, but for the people who receive them, they are wonderful gifts from the heaven.
