In China, Lei Feng has become a synonym of helping others. As far as I am concerned, the spirit of Lei Feng can not be out of date in modern society. First of all, helping others is one of the Chinese virtues, which is worth carrying forward by all of us. For example, a village teacher named Liu Xintao, who sticks to teach the village students for up to 24 years, is a type of living Lei Feng. Secondly, helping others would bring us happiness and a sense of achievements. We would happy to see that many people are participating in the actives of charity. Furthermore, helping others is helping ourselves. One of the most beautiful returns in life is that we may get gains at the same time after helping others in good faith. I believe that we all live in the same society, we should give others a hand when they in need, and we should transmit this kind of virtue. The spirit of Lei Feng will always be the highlight of our lives.
