Singing while he played was not his only unusual habit. He often walked around Toronto on the hottest August days with an overcoat, scarf, and gloves on. He never cared what people said about his behavior. He often wanted to stay alone with his music,and at times he simply refused to see people at all.
    In spite of his unusual habits, or maybe because of them, music lovers everywhere prize Glenn Gould’s recordings. When he died suddenly at age fifty, Canada and the world lost one of their musical treasures.
