Who escaped the crash alive?

Serge Mulumba, the senior official at Congo’s Humanitarian Affairs Ministry.He says only one person on board the flight, the mechanic, escaped the crash alive. He says at least 30 people were injured and nine houses were destroyed in the crash. A local journalist, Eddy Isango, says the flames had previously prevented aid workers from combing the wreckage. U.N. mission spokesman Michel Bonnardeaux says the fire was put out Thursday but restarted overnight. We heard this morning through the local news that the fire had restarted during the night so the emergency services were dispatched again and tried to put out the fire once and for all. The accident took place Thursday morning in Congo’s capital Kinshasa.
