答案
China Shouldn’t Encourage Privately -Owned Cars With the development of modem society, more and more Chinese families can afford to buy cars. We can’t deny the conveniences brought by the privately - owned cars, but with all things considered, I think China shouldn’t encourage privately- owned automobiles. To begin with, cars may take up much time and space. China has a large population and the average space for each person is limited. If each person has his or her own car, the traffic jams will be more serious and people will have to wait for more time on their way to work or home. With the space crammed with privately - owned cars, people will have less space for walking or jogging. What’s more, it is well - known that cars cause pollution which do great harm to people’s health and even threatens our living environment. If each person has a private car, the smog discharged by the cars will be too much to make the earth a pleasant place to live in. Therefore, the government shouldn’t encourage privately- owned cars, otherwise, there would be a more crowded and more dirty environment awaiting us in the future.
