答案 A disastrous earthquake hit Sichuan Province on May 12 this year. The tragedy was terrible, but when it struck we could not hide from it. Many young people decided to join rescue and relief effort in Sichuan. They brought hope to quake survivors. As is shown in the picture, the students in ×× University comfort their classmates from the quake-hit region with hugs. We can also see a student holding in her hands a sign, which says: "Our hearts are linked to Wenchuan. We concern ourselves about the survivors there and worry about them. The whole campus of ours is full of love". The photo really sets me thinking. It reflects that we students are always ready to extend our love and concern to everyone who is in deep waters because we are as closely linked with them as flesh and blood. That whatever situation we are faced with, we’ll be united as one and break through all the difficulties on our way ahead. Just as a schoolgirl-survivor put it, "I am determined to endure the pain I feel in order to ease the pain of those who have survived. I must be strong to help others. What we bring to them is not only material. We also bring them encouragement so that they can stand up to these difficult times". As far as I’m concerned, I will never forget what the girl said. I finally realize that life contains not only bright moments, but also bitterness. This bitterness can expand our understanding and make our lives complete.
