In 1992, the percentage of the use of computer in the office was only 3%. However, it surged to 45% in 2012. In contrast, the percentage of the use of paper documents dropped sharply. There is no great change in the percentage of the use of fax and photocopier and other facilities. Why are there so many changes in the percentage of the use of office supplies? The primary reason lies in the wide application of the computer in recent years. The computer is beginning to replace the phone to a great extent due to its lower cost and additional video function in communication.
