It indicates that to err is human, as was remarked centuries ago by Alexander Pope, the renowned British poet. Strangely enough, people exert great efforts to avoid making mistakes, which actually are part of our life. Let’s name but a few. First, we may take the wrong steps when we first learn to toddle, and fall over. However, we learn how to walk and run from it. Second, we may make friends with someone who is a hypocrite, and get hurt. But we learn to treasure real friendship, rare as it is. Last but not least we may love someone who does not deserve it, and get our hearts broken, yet the wrongs make us wise and cherish the one who is caring and loving. Mistakes are not dreadful since they are part of our life. What is dreadful is that we stop trying for fear of making mistakes. If so, we would never know how to walk, make good friends, or find Mr./ Miss Right. So, don’t fear making mistakes, just learn from them.
