答案 The Benefits of Further Study Prior to graduation, many college students would have to decide what to do next—to either start a career or to study further for another degree. Although so many graduates are eager to start a career, there are still some who prefer to start their new life after gaining another degree to be better prepared for entering society. In my opinion, the latter would be a wiser choice. Firstly, undertaking further study can help you gain advanced and detailed knowledge about a specific subject. If you always enjoy the subject you are studying and you don’t mind spending another two or three years on campus, it’s sensible to study further to get another degree before starting a career. Secondly, it can extend your credentials. During the following years’ study, you will improve your writing skills, presentation skills, group work or project management skills, which will be helpful in your future career. Finally, it can expand your career options. In today’s society, the achievement and status you can get and the promotions you can gain are no doubt in proportion to your educational background and degrees. If you want to become successful quickly, you’d better head for the further study. I believe those who work hard and industriously will eventually succeed. But if we can make the long road to success smoother, shorter and easier, why not do it?
