This picture aims to reflect that people tend to focus their attention on achievements but be blind to problems. Examples can be easily found in today’s society. Teachers are likely to only boast about their contribution to students’ academic progress but never notice students’ mental or moral problems caused by improper teaching methods. Executives are possibly obsessed by business expansion but not a-ware of unsafe working conditions or reduced product quality. It is human nature to prefer achievements to problems. However, completely ignoring problems is unwise and dangerous. A problem can never disappear by itself. If it isn’t solved, it will grow and probably lead to a big disaster finally. An unsolved mental problem may claim a student’s life and continuously reducing product quality will smash a company. Surely, facing problems is much unhappier than celebrating achievements. However, we should not intentionally ignore problems since they may have disastrous effects on our life. When problems occur, we should pay attention to them and try to find timely solutions.
