答案Dear Editor, It is said that the police are about to fine jaywalkers, I can’t too agree with this policy because the jaywalking, though considered as a minor violation, can be a very hazardous practice for the jaywalker himself and drivers alike. It is a good start to improve the city’s traffic condition. In my opinion, the government should also pay more attention to other rarely-enforced traffic laws. For example, tickets are seldom issued to drivers who stop their cars right in the middle of the zebra crossing while waiting for the traffic lights. Another frequent violation is that drivers often enter an intersection even though they know they’ll never make it across before the traffic light turns green. Yours truly, Li Ming
