Some people think happiness lies in money, in spacious residences, in beautiful private cars, in delicious food and expensive clothing, in a handsome boyfriend or a pretty girlfriend. All this is true, but all this is not the essence of happiness. Happiness mainly lies in one’ s feeling, in one’ s state of mind, in one’ s satisfaction from successes in his career. As we all know, although someone is a millionaire and leads a life in luxury, he may feel unhappy, and there are quite a few people who are not rich and live a simple life, but they always feel very happy. They are happy because they can face everything bravely and calmly, and because they can derive pleasure from their simple life and the success in their career. If a person can get rid of envy, greed, grudge and be generous, openhearted and hard-working, he is sure to be happy. Long-term happiness is based on honesty, productive work, contribution, and self-esteem. Happiness is not an end; it is a process.
