   In this part of the test the examiner reads out a scenario and gives you some prompt material in the form of pictures or words. You have 30 seconds to look at the prompt card, an example of which is below, and then about 2 minutes to discuss the scenario with your partner. After that the examiner will ask you more questions related to the topic.

[Task sheet I is placed in flout of the candidates so that they can both see it.] Think about the ideas for a few seconds. ? I will describe the situation again. Your company is planning to hold a new product launch. Talk together about the topic the company could arrange in the product launch and decide which 3 you think are more important. Now talk together. Please speak so that we can hear you. [Candidates have about 2 minutes to complete the task.] A: As you know our company is planning to hold a new product, launch, we are here to discuss about the arrangements. There are seven factors we should discuss about: Advertisement, posters, market prospect, raw material, output, cost, consumer. Do you have any ideas? B: I think the best approach is good advertisement and cost. A: I agree with you. B: We should also consider the prospect of the market. Because, if our product isn’t suitable for the market, the money we spend on advertising would cost us a lot. A: Furthermore, the prospect of market will be the most important factors in our new campaign of launching a product. Thank you!
