Working with temps harms your health and wealth. Staff employed directly by the company have lower job【B7】______and higher anxiety when they can spot agency workers throughout the business—even if those temps are working in different departments, NIESR said. This is despite permanent staff generally getting paid 9 percent more on average than temps. Alex Bryson, report author, said, "Employers face a dilemma. Temporary agency workers【B8】______have an adverse effect on employees’【B9】______ at work, perhaps due to a more labor-intensive regime, one which is only partly compensated for with higher wages. 选项
答案
enduring
解析
空格所在从句中的主语是millions of permanent staff,空格后是名词词组pay freezes and cutbacks,由此可知,空格前的are和空格处单词一起作谓语成分。结合录音可知,答案为enduring,意为“容忍,忍受”。
