答案 On College Students’ Self-care Ability Nowadays in China, a problem that is quite prevalent a-mong college students is that many of them lack the ability to take care of themselves. For example, it is not uncommon that a college student takes a week’s dirty clothes back home and let the mother do the washing simply because he/she doesn’t know how to do it. Why is it so? In my opinion, the doting parents should first take the blame. As it is, many parents love their kids so much that they go to extremes to manage every little detail of their kids’ lives, without realizing that they are depriving their kids of the opportunity to learn self-dependence. In addition, the students are also to be blame. Even though the family provides an important support and all the care, they should not take everything in their life for granted or even do not bother to learn some basic living skills. In short, to train students to be independent, we need parents to loosen their grip and students to take some responsibilities.
