答案 To start to work immediately or go on study in a postgraduate programme? That is the question facing the college student at a crossroad in his life in the picture. Actually, most students will be faced with a similar dilemma when they graduate from universities. Clearly, this is a challenging question; different people may hold radically different views. In the eyes of one group of people, finding a job immediately is characterized by a few advantages. A job can provide college graduates with a chance to use the textbook knowledge and let them have money to support themselves as well as gain experience. Accumulation of working experience will definitely lead to the mature in the real sense. Other young people, however, believe that pursuing a graduate study outweighs finding a job in almost every aspect. They think that four years in college only lay more or less a solid foundation , and the development of expertise is yet to take place. The best way is to strike while the iron is hot so as to help the substantial progress to arrive earlier. As for me, no matter which course a graduate will eventually follow, he should investigate his specific situation and seek advice from others before he makes the final decision. Anyone is free to choose whether to accept others advice or not, but in both cases he has to be fully aware of what is his goal in life and how he can achieve that goal.
