答案 A traditional building is surrounded so tightly by numerous modern high buildings and large mansions that it can’t be found by people outside. It seems disappointed, only by erecting a long pole with a banner reading "places of historical interest" to attract tourists. Obviously, the picture intends to remind us of a prominent phenomenon in our society: historical architectures are being encroached upon by modern skyscrapers. The places, where most traditional architectures are located, are so centered with inestimable economic value that they deserve real-estate developers’ special attention to building multifunctional malls after being demolished. However, their real values, which are higher than those economic figures, such as cultural, educational and aesthetic values, are greatly underestimated. Most of them witness winding growing process of China and alert us to bravely undertake responsibility of revitalize our nation. For example, besides ornamental value of intricate design, magnificent presence and harmonious colors, the forbidden City and the Summer Palace attract abundant tourists to visit because of their identity of ancient China. Historical architectures are windows of history. Although thousands of them have been destroyed, it can’t be too late to preserve those in existence. It is more valuable to realize values of places of historical interest than buildings themselves.
