答案 On the Issue of Food Safety In the picture, a father is trying to examine the food such as eggs, fish and vegetables with a magnifying glass for his little son. He looks worried, with his face pinched and his brows drawing together. This picture is meant to point out the worrisome state of affairs concerning the food safety. As the picture shows, the food safety has always been an issue in China. From milk powder with melamine to gutter oil, plus fake eggs, the list of food safety incidents in our country would not be short. Now, it’s understandable that domestic consumers are worried about the food they buy and eat, which has resulted in the rise and popularity of foreign imported food stores. What’s more, people are trying to avoid eating out. Many who can cook themselves will reject dining at restaurants , of which some are notorious for their poor quality food stuff. This situation does conflict with the core value of "beautiful China". ( " 美丽中国"是十九大提出的核心概念。) Considering the huge scale and complex situation of food industry chains in China, there are no shortcuts to resolving the country’s food safety issues. Only with the joint efforts and collaboration of government, food industry and consumers, can China’s food industry get developed healthily and gradually.
